Getting Started

Who can invest?
Australian residents aged 18+ who pass our ID checks. You’ll find full eligibility details in the PDS.
What is the target return and how is it set?
The fund targets RBA Cash Rate + 3.00% p.a.
It’s a goal, not a guarantee and returns may vary.  Risks apply – see the PDS for details.
How do I start and how long does it take?
Read the PDS, sign up online, verify your ID, and invest from $5,000.

Most investors are up and running in under 10 minutes.
Where can I read all the legal details?
All documents—PDS, TMD, FSG, and Terms—are available anytime on our Important Documents page.
How do I start, and how long does it take?
Start by reading the PDS and TMD to understand the product and whether it’s right for you.

Then, sign up, verify your ID, and fund your account with a minimum of $ 5,000.

It usually takes less than 10 minutes to create your account online.
Is there a limit to how much I can deposit at one time?
The only limit is the minimum investment of $5,000. There’s no/ cap on how much you can invest.

You can direct debit up to $1 million. For larger amounts, we’ll provide EFT details in the app to complete your transfer securely.
What if I deposit over $1 Million?
For investments over $1 million, you won’t be able to use direct debit. Instead, we’ll provide EFT instructions in the app to complete your transfer securely.
Can I register as a company or trust?
Yes. When signing up, select “Company or Trust” as your investor type.

We’ll ask for a few key details, such as your organisation’s name, ABN or ACN, and registered address.  We will notify you if any additional details are required.
Where can I find the important legal documents?
You’ll find the PDS, TMD, FSG and Terms & Conditions on the Important Documents page of our website.

Investing & distributions (earnings)

How often will I receive income?
Distributions are calculated and paid quarterly (if applicable). You can choose to receive cash or reinvest it automatically, unlocking the benefits of compounding.  

Performance is not guaranteed and risks apply – see the PDS for details.
What fees will I pay?
Fees and costs may apply. For full details, including management fees and estimated costs, please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
Is my capital guaranteed?
No. Returns and capital are not guaranteed.

Your money is put to work, and while the goal is steady income, there’s always some risk involved.
What are the main risks?
Private credit comes with risks, like borrower defaults, liquidity delays, and market impacts. Your capital is not guaranteed, and you may incur losses. Please read the PDS for full risk details.
How is my capital deployed?
Your funds are lent to a range of asset-backed credit opportunities, reviewed by our Investment Committee.

How do I track performance?
Log in anytime to your dashboard to view your earnings, and downloadable reports.

No paperwork, no waiting.
How are returns taxed?
You’ll receive an annual tax statement to help with reporting, but we recommend getting independent tax advice.
What’s the minimum amount I can top up my investment?
After your initial investment of $5,000, you can top up your account at any time from $2,000.

There’s no maximum, just make sure to review your investment goals and read the PDS before adding more funds.

Withdrawals & Redemptions

Is my money locked up?
Yes, there’s a 12-month minimum holding period.

After that, just give us 30 days’ notice before the end of a calendar quarter to request a withdrawal (longer notice may be required for larger redemptions).
Can I withdraw at any time?
After the 12-month minimum investment period, you can withdraw at the end of each calendar quarter by giving 30 days’ notice.

For larger withdrawals (over 20% of the fund or more than $100,000), it may take a little longer.

Can I withdraw my money before the 12 months?
Can I withdraw my money before the 12 months? Moneybox is designed as a 12-month minimum investment, so early withdrawals are not  allowed before then.

If you're facing special circumstances, you can submit a request for early withdrawal.

The Trustee will review your request on a case-by-case basis and may approve or reject it at their sole discretion.

Referral program

How can I refer a friend?

It’s simple. Just share your unique referral link. If your friend signs up and invests, you’ll both earn a reward:

  • $50 each when they invest between $5,000 and $9,999
  • $100 each when they invest$10,000 or more

How many friends can I invite?
You can refer up to 10 friends under the current referral program — that’s up to $1,000 in rewards.

Managing your account

How can I change my password?
Log in to your Moneybox account and go to Settings > Personal Information > Password and select the pencil icon ✏️ to update your password anytime.

You will be asked to verify this change with a One-Time-Passcode, sent via SMS to the mobile phone on the account.
How can I change my mobile phone number?
Head to Settings > Personal Information > Mobile number to get started.

For your security, mobile numbers can’t be updated directly in the app.

Please email us with a copy of a recent phone bill or a document from your provider that shows your new number.

Once we’ve verified your request, we’ll update your account and let you know when it’s complete.
How can I change my address?
To keep your account secure, address changes can’t be made directly in the app.

Email us with a copy of a recent bill or official document showing your name and new address.

Once we’ve verified your request, we’ll update your details and let you know when it’s done.
How can I change my bank account information?

For your security, bank details usually can’t be changed in the app.

To update them, email us at support@moneyboxinvest.com with:

  • A copy of your old and new bank statements showing your name and account details.

We’ll verify everything and let you know once your details have been updated. We may request additional documents or information if needed.

How can I close my account?
You can request to close your account after the minimum 12-month investment period and once your investment has been fully withdrawn. Reach out to support@moneyboxivest.com to begin the process.
How can I update my Tax information?
You can update your TFN or tax details in the Moneybox app.

Just head to Settings > Tax identification details and follow the prompts.

It’s quick, secure, and helps ensure your account is reported correctly at tax time.
Why do you need my Tax information?
Providing your Tax File Number (TFN) or Tax Identification Number (TIN) helps us report your earnings accurately and apply the correct tax rate to your distributions.

We’ll ask for this when you make your first investment (along with your bank details), and you can update it anytime in the app under Settings > Tax identification details.

Failure to quote a TFN or ABN is not an offence—but we’re required by law to withhold tax from your distributions until your details are provided.

The collection of this information is authorised, and its use and disclosure are strictly regulated by tax and privacy laws.

If you’re exempt, you can email supporting documents to support@moneyboxinvest.com.
What if I’m a resident in another country for tax purposes?
If you're a tax resident of another country, we're required by law to collect your country of tax residency and your Tax Identification Number (TIN) when you make your first investment.

This information is collected to meet international reporting obligations under FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard).

If you're unsure what to provide, or your country doesn't issue TINs, get in touch with us at support@moneyboxinvest.com and we'll guide you through the next steps.
